What is a Personal Chef?

A personal chef will do the menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and cooking of your dinners. Imagine having the extra time to spend with family and friends, or to pursue more enjoyable activities, while enjoying tasty, home cooked foods in the comfort of your own home.

How long will meal preparation take?

The Secret Kitchen Chef cooks several different entrees and side dishes from scratch, so it can take 5-7 hours, depending on the complexity of the menu selected. However, we are willing to work with your schedule or situation, and we can make arrangements in advance so that the cooking date fits your needs.

How often will I need your services?

Some clients only want a few entrees available a month, others find they enjoy it so much they ask for weekly service. We suggest you schedule an initial appointment. Then after you have tried our service, you can decide what is right for you.

Why do you have to use my kitchen? Why can't you use your own kitchen and deliver the food?

It's the law - I cannot prepare or sell anything out of my own kitchen. By using your kitchen, you know where your food is coming from. It also keeps the overall cost of this service affordable by eliminating the overhead costs that would be incurred by the use of a commercial kitchen.
